I had a wonderful book buying month in January – only 18 books! That’s pretty modest considering I’ve been known to buy over 30 books in one month. Plus, it was my birthday this month so I got a few books as gifts from family and friends. Let’s see how it breaks down:

-5 romance novels/books about romance novels (The Flame and the Flower; Dangerous Books for Girls; How to Forget a Duke; The Look of Love; The Black Moth)

-4 works of non fiction (Fire and Fury; Welcome to the Writer’s Life; Science Fiction: A Literary History; 1001 TV Shows)

-4 fantasy novels (Dragon God; Heartstone; The Seven; The Gilded Wolves)

-1 horror novel (The Outsider)

-1 book of poetry (To Make Monsters Out of Girls)

-1 classic (Sense and Sensibility)

-1 comic  book (Rivers of London: Water Weed)

-1 historical fiction novel (Ruth’s Journey)
