T5W: Top 5 Fictional Places I’d Take a Date To

I could only come up with four entries this week but below are all the fictional places I’d love to take a date to.

1) The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade

Picture this: the snow is falling, you’re walking hand in mittened hand with your date through a twilit Hogsmeade. You go into the Three Broomsticks and cozy up in a corner with a couple of hot butterbeers and the two of you munch your way through all the sweets you bought at Honeydukes earlier.  The perfect winter date.

2) Starfall festival from A Court of Mist and Fury

It’s been a while since I’ve read this series but I still remember the romantic Starfall festival that Rhys and Feyre attend. This would be an opportunity for me and my date to get all glammed up, go dancing – and then we could find a secluded balcony somewhere and watch the stars fall.

3) Three Pines from the Chief Inspector Armand Gamache series

the cruelest month

Three Pines is a (fictional) small, quaint village in Quebec. I’d love to take a date here for a weekend getaway so we could browse Myrna’s bookstore, visit the boulangerie for some French pastries and then go for a bite at Olivier’s bistro.

4) The Quidditch World Cup

I’m not a huge sports fan but I would definitely take a date to the biggest sporting even in the Wizarding World (providing I could score tickets, of course.)
