TTT: Top 10 Book on My Spring 2019 TBR

1) Fire and Fury by Michael Wolff

fire and fury

I’m really late to the party for this one but what better time to read a juicy political tell-all than springtime?

2) Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard

bloodwitch

The latest installment of the Witchlands series came out in February but I just didn’t have time for it – which means it’s at the top of my TBR for spring.

3) The Stand by Stephen King

the stand

Most people wouldn’t associate the Master of Horror with springtime but I’ve had a craving for The Stand lately, a King classic that I haven’t read in years.

4) Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas

throne of glass

It is TIME – time to FINALLY pick up this series that I’ve been putting off for years. Thankfully, all of the books are out now so I can binge-read it.

5) The Marvels by Brian Selznick

I’ve read his other two books and this spring I’ll be reading The Marvels – Selznick’s books are always beautiful and poignant, filled with stunning artwork so I’m really looking forward to this one.

6) 16 Lighthouse Road by Debbie Macomber

16 lighthouse road

Finally, a book with a cover that actually looks like it belongs on a Spring TBR list. Even though she’s one of the romance genres most prolific authors, I’ve never read Debbie Macomber before so this spring I think it’s time to give her a whirl.

7) Ruth’s Journey by Donald McCaig

Gone with the Wind spin-off novel that focuses on Mammy’s back-story, this is probably more of a ‘summer’ read – and it might get pushed back to my summer TBR, depending on how much I can read in the next few months.

8) The Secret Swan by Shana Abe

the secret swan

A historical romance with a seasonally appropriate title and cover. Perfect light reading for those sunny spring days.

9) Aurora Rising (The Aurora Cycle #1) by Jay Kristoff & Amie Kaufman

One of my most anticipated releases of 2019, I’ve been waiting for this book for years. It comes out in May and I’m SUPER stoked.

10) The Mister by E.L. James

mister

Okay, I’ll admit it – my curiosity has gotten the better of me and I’ve already pre-ordered this one. I just have to know if this book is going to be as bad/trashy/fun as Fifty Shades.
